Exclusive Retreats

The Kiwisense Retreat offers an opportunity to receive relationship coaching without having to attend regular sessions at the counsellor’s office in a public environment.

Relationship coaching is different from marriage counselling in that its focus is on learning about yourselves, each other and relationship dynamics in a way that is both fun and life-changing. 

We offer a Day or Weekend format at our retreat location just south of Matamata.  (Waikato/Bay of Plenty region within easy reach of Tauranga, Rotorua or Hamilton airports.)  We operate our retreats all year round and bookings are made upon request. 

When considering a retreat option we require a phone call just to briefly discuss the type of issues that your relationship is facing to ensure which option best suits your needs. 

As invited guests of Allan and Sue where privacy is guaranteed at their property, Allan will coach you on improving your relationship in a peaceful secluded rural setting.  Away from the pressures of your everyday environment, you will have the opportunity to focus on each other and your relationship without interruptions.  Roam the extensive gardens, walk through the stock, or fish for trout in the stony bottomed stream.

Ideal for people who lead busy lives with irregular schedules. Five to six hours of relationship coaching allowing uninterrupted time for a couple to explore and address the issues limiting their relationship.  Arrive 9.30 - 10.00am depending on individual circumstances, morning tea and lunch provided. Weekend (Two/Three Day) Retreat

Coaching over two days includes times of more formal relationship coaching sessions, informal conversations, time for reflection, relaxation and fun together.  Specifically designed for one couple at a time this is an indepth weekend with both the time and environment to investigate and address the underlying factors that will be influencing the relationship.

 

Couples usually arrive late Friday afternoon and depart early Sunday afternoon depending on their circumstances but "mid-week" options are also available on request.
